My name is Helen.  I have always been enchanted by Mehndi.  I am a self taught henna artist practicing the art of mehndi for over 20 years and have always been committed to providing artistic, professional services and making my clients experience with Mehndi a unique, enjoyable and an unforgettable one.  All of the designs I do are free-hand, no stencils are used.

I specialize in traditional Indian style Mehndi.   Born and raised in Chicago among Indian families as a child, it is then  that I developed a passion for Mehndi.   I have traveled a great deal throughout the US and have practiced my art in the many cities I have visited. 

The henna paste I use is made with 100% natural Henna powder, lemon juice, and essential oils.  I do not and will not use "Black Henna" and other various colors because I believe it is unethical and dangerous.  True henna will only achieve one color; a deep chestnut-to-mahogany hue.  Any other colors are not natural and should be avoided.  I will and do only use natural, organic henna paste.

I am currently providing henna services throughout the Mid-Atlantic ~ primarily Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania ~ and currently reside in Richmond, Virginia with my four, furry children.
